Disney Cruise Singapore - When?

Being the huge (yet casual) Disney fans that we are, we can’t wait for the new Disney cruise to set sail from Singapore.

Currently, all we know is that it’ll be setting sail in 2025 and the ship is named the Disney Adventure. With the lack of any announced dates so far and now approaching the end of 2024, many are predicting that the inaugural sailing will only be in late 2025.

The Disney Cruise Line social media accounts have been busy posting teasers on the environments and experiences onboard, but everything has been 3D mockups so far. We haven’t seen any actual photos of the physical ship.

In the latest news, the Disney Cruise Line Singapore just posted about an exclusive Grand Reveal event on 16 October - could this finally be the time when they announce some firmer details? We’ll see! There was a giveaway on the post for two winners to get to attend the reveal event.

There have been tons and tons of marketing going around on the Singapore Disney cruise. I’ve seen them all over social media as ads, on bus liveries on the roads, and even a huge billboard along the Keppel Viaduct. These are sure to have piqued lots of interest in the cruise, and there’s a rapidly growing Facebook group where the eager fans (like us) have gathered, waiting for the latest news. I’ve also seen some travel agencies advertising packages for the Disney cruise Singapore.

The ship was actually initially ordered by Genting Hong Kong for its Star Cruises fleet, and later transferred to Dream Cruises. Disney Cruise Line later bought over the ship while it was under construction and it’s now being transformed to the Disney Adventure.

We’re going on the Disney Wish!

Not being able to wait any longer, we decided to book a trip to Orlando to go on a Disney cruise on board the Disney Wish! We’ll keep you updated on how it goes. We’re really looking forward to it! The cruise will be on 22-25 November 2024, a 4d3n itinerary with stops at the Bahamas and Disney’s private island Castaway Cay.

We’ll be publishing another post on how we booked the cruise and everything else like flights, and the research that went behind it, so that you have an idea of how to get started if you’re thinking of going for a Disney cruise now, or visit Walt Disney World in Orlando, USA.
